Eegee's Sale!

Hi there Lulu Walker! Thank you for the wonderful turn out today during lunch recess. It was exciting to see all of you come out to buy a tasty treat. We are still trying to figure out a way to sell Eegee's to the younger grades at some point in time in the near future. It was nice to see Mrs. Pierce's class stop by for a visit. Unfortunately we did run out of Eegee's before everyone had a chance to buy one. Next time we will buy three party packs instead of just two. We will be sure to let you know when the next Eegee's sale is. Student council would also like to thank all of you for keeping our school campus clean and picking up after yourselves.

Science Fair Boards!

Okay Walker Wolves, student council has recently ordered 50 science fair boards for you to buy at school.  We will be selling boards for 4 dollars!  You can buy the science fair boards from either Mr. Moore in room 20, or Mr. Pierce in room 24.  We will let you know as soon as they arrive at the school for you to buy.  In the meantime here is a website for you to take a look at that deals with the layout of the science fair board itself.  Hope that it helps.

Student Council Happy New Year!

Hi there Walker Wolves!  There is a lot happening around the school at the start of the third quarter and student council wanted to see how every one was doing after the new year.  Today during student council the 5th grade students set out to make a short video that will be posted soon.  The 4th graders pooled together their ideas for some possible fundraisers to help raise some money to help out the school.  The third grade students went on a mission to find out what the teachers are in need of at this point in time for the school year.  From the information that they gathered, it sounds like we are in need of some supplies.  Copy paper for the teachers, pencils, glue, so on and so forth.  Student Council has been thinking about some fun ways to raise money around school and we have come up with the idea of possibly selling some delicious Eegee's once a week to help raise money for supplies.  Student council would really like to find out what you have to say about that idea.  Please post a comment and let us know if you think that is a good idea, or if you have another idea for us to help raise some money.

Another concern that we have been hearing about is the recycling around school.  Some classes are unsure of what or when the days to put out recycle bins is so I wanted to let every one know what our schedule is for pick up.  Student council has two days each week that they go around and empty out recycle bins.  Those days are on Tuesday and Thursday.  If you would like for your class room bin to be emptied then please leave it outside of your door sometime before you leave to go to lunch.  If there is no bin outside of your door then we will not come looking for it.  We will do our best to return it quickly and quietly!  Student Council is very happy and excited to help out our school and environment at the same time.  We hope that everyone had a wonderful winter break and we look forward to seeing you around school!
